VET Teacher Scholarship Program

To ensure that the Victorian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector is recognised for the quality provision of its training, the Victorian government has provided funding to support workforce development scholarships for those seeking to move into VET teaching, including secondary school teachers and industry practitioners.

The VET scholarship program is for Victorians who are:
• secondary school staff wanting to move into VET sector work
• VET teachers at TAFE Institutes, ACFE providers or RTOs which are contractors approved by Skills Victoria to provide Victorian government funded training
• Industry practitioners wanting to be VET teachers.

Scholarships of $1,000, limited to one per person, will support study of:
• TAA50104 Diploma of Training and Assessment,
• TAE50111 Diploma of VET
• TAE502011 Diploma of Training Design and Development or
• 21697VIC Diploma of VET Practice. OR
• TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
